Branded Content

Digital content production across multiple formats — email marketing, social media carousels, LinkedIn posts, and other assets — for clients including Continental, dr.consulta, and Tenda.

On the right: carousel posts produced for Continental's official LinkedIn page in Brazil.

dr.consulta is a Brazilian healthtech offering affordable, pay-per-service medical care without traditional health insurance. Founded in 2011, it operates a network of clinics and a telemedicine platform nationwide.

I designed the internal communication pieces, email marketing, social media carousels, and mascot illustrations for dr.consulta, covering both internal and external channels, ensuring visual coherence and brand alignment across all touchpoints.

o2. Magazines & Books

Macao Magazine

During the years I lived in Macao, I worked at the Macaulink agency, where one of my main roles was the designer of the Macau government's official English-language magazine.

The magazine covered a range of topics, including the city's politics, economy, and arts scene.

As the magazine's designer, I led its redesign in 2016, giving it a cleaner, more modern look.

In addition to the magazine's layout, I was responsible for photo retouching, creating infographics and icons, developing the UI of the app, and producing all the additional materials that occasionally accompanied each issue (booklets, cards, and bookmark).

Ariana

Bilingual (English/Chinese) quarterly magazine published in Hong Kong, covering pressing social issues across Asia (gender-based violence, the refugee crisis, LGBTQ+ rights, and more).

As the designer responsible for the magazine's layout, my main challenges were balancing English and Chinese text (given how differently the two languages occupy space) and creating infographics and visual boxes that made heavier topics feel more approachable.

Pearl River Delta Collection

This collection of three publications, documents China's Belt and Road Initiative and its impact on Macao and the Portuguese-speaking world. As graphic designer, I handled the full editorial layout across all editions.

I also designed most of the maps and all the icons, translating trade routes and key statistics into a consistent visual language across the English, Chinese and Portuguese versions.

Sticker Books

At Editora Abril in São Paulo, I worked in the licensed publications department, handling titles for multinational companies such as Disney and Mattel.

Based on the guideline materials sent by the companies, I created the entire layout for the books and stickers.

Two stories, one book

In partnership with Mandarina publishing house,
I illustrated four books about the daily life of two children living in Macau.

Each book tells two stories: on one side, the story of Pou, a Chinese boy, and on the other, the story of Júlia, a Portuguese girl.

The artistic style follows a simpler, monochromatic approach, with a distinct color palette for each story.

In this collection, alongside the two children, the main character is the city of Macau itself, its culture, food, languages, and places are present throughout all four books.

o5. Character Design

As an illustrator, I enjoy character creation. I like giving personality and visual identity to characters, whether for editorial publications, institutional projects, or motion graphics.

Character-Design-01.gif

Moonique

This character originated from my Master's project in 3D Animation.

She's just a cow roaming the galaxy, looking for a place to call home, an animal sanctuary among the stars.

Below, you can check out some early sketches and the development of her design.

Here we have the final character sketch, alongside its vectorized version created in Adobe Illustrator and the 3D model built in Autodesk Maya. This side-by-side comparison shows the transition from 2D concept to fully realized three-dimensional character, highlighting how the design evolved through each stage of the production pipeline.

Final renders of Moonique from multiple angles, accompanied by detailed close-ups that highlight key features of her design.

These shots showcase her silhouette, proportions, and surface details from various perspectives, offering a comprehensive view of the character as she would appear in a fully animated scene.

Toni (安東尼)

This character was created for the Macau Government Tourism Office's mascot competition, earning a Merit Award.

Toni blends the Chinese Fenghuang and Portuguese Rooster, reflecting Macau's dual heritage. His mandarin suit, wave-shaped crest, and lotus-tipped tail evoke the city's icons, while his name, "valuable" and "lover of the arts", honors its culture and creativity.

06. Event collateral

ASEAN Gaming Summit

A three-day industry conference in Manila recognized as the central meeting point for Asia's gaming sector. I designed the event's visual collateral, including branding, signage, promotional materials and 3D renders.

Asia Gaming Awards

At this awards ceremony, I was responsible for designing all event collateral (from digital material to signage) and also conceptualized and produced the official trophy, ensuring the trophy's sculptural form reflected the event's identity.

o7. Motion Graphics

Please find below a selection of motion graphics and video edits I've created for clients including Calvin Klein and Nestlé. In the case of the animations developed for Oz Forensics and Unico, my role went beyond animation, I was also in charge of illustration, color direction, and scene composition.
